A new apartment fit-and retail space were proposed within an existing commercial space in the historic Hardwick complex.

The proposal aims to reinforce and enhance the heritage warehouse experience, maintaining several existing structural elements and features throughout.

Split levels have been introduced within the vast open plan, to maximise vertical spatial experience and points of interest. A new balcony creates an ample outdoor living area with views to the open sky, which creates also a strong connection with the pedestrian street and urban lifestyle.

ENERGY EFFICIENCY

Energy efficiency initiatives include all electric power usage throughout, increased insulation and double glazing, plus use of reclaimed and locally sourced materials wherever possible.
