Proposed new additions to this house in Outlook Drive occur mainly at the rear, to satisfy Heritage requirements. All previously added feature columns were removed as part of the "stripping back" process. Existing rear sunroom and portico were demolished and replaced with a new dining room, gymnasium, bedroom and bathroom. New bathrooms and kitchen, with dedicated wine cellar, replaced existing.

New spanish ceramic roof tiles replaced existing slate tiles and are suitable for drinking-quality rainwater collection. The existing house was completely rewired, plumbed and re-floored as part of the restoration process; existing pvc-frames windows were replaced by new stained timber. The previous mauve-painted brickwork was also rendered over to unify all new (and previous) additions.

The previously-stepped landscape created a sense of detachment between the pool and outdoor entertaining areas to the rest of the house. The raised rear garden and pool were therefore lowered to match the ground floor level, to give a greater sense of openness and continuity. An existing double carport was also been replaced and enlarged to accommodate four cars.

The materials pallette was simplified and restricted to natural stones, stained timber linings and render, which reinforce the preferred aesthetic of the area.
